I woke up this morning to go to my 8 am class, but I just wasn’t feeling it today. It’s been a long week of tests, quizzes, and a paper, and honestly, my bed is just way more comfortable. Hey, at least I got up and tried to convince myself to go. It’s the thought that counts, right? :) Some mornings, I just want to enjoy and take my time, and today was one of them. I texted Collin (my boyfriend) to convince him that it was a good idea for me to skip class, and thankfully, he was still asleep. He’s my personal mom on campus that gets after me if I don’t go to class. So responsible (which is obnoxious sometimes)! I guess I need a personal kick in my butt to go to class
every once in a while everyday, so I’m thankful for it (sometimes).
Anyways, after ignoring my alarm a solid three or four times, I hopped out of bed, ready for some breakfast so I could move along with my day. I had some Fage 0% Greek yogurt with a some cinnamon and splenda mixed in. Then I had my morning cup of coffee (otherwise known as my cup of joy) with some skim milk and splenda. I literally use the same mug every morning. Some of us (aka definitely me) just aren’t morning people and need a little boost of joy in the morning.
Well it’s Friday, and the weekend has officially started (even earlier than normal since I skipped my one and only class today)! I’m off to get a workout in and get some work done, so I can enjoy the weekend to the fullest! I need to decide who I am rooting for in the Super Bowl (no preference here, but I love cheering for one or the other and acting like I’m their biggest fan). Enjoy your morning!
